聖母怜子像

The carved folds of her robe catch the light so softly it feels like actual fabric, and the sorrow on Mary’s face is heartbreakingly real for such a small piece. It arrived well-packaged and sits perfectly on my shelf.

The way Mary’s head tilts toward her son really captures the sorrow of the original, even at this petite scale. I’ve had it on my shelf for a week and keep noticing new details in the folds of the fabric.

It's small enough to sit on my nightstand, but the sorrow in Mary's face still hits me every time I look at it. The way she holds him feels so tender, even in this petite version.
